Background of the Study
Personalized study plans are essential for academic success, as they allow students to structure their learning in alignment with their individual needs, strengths, and weaknesses. Traditional study plans, often generic and one-size-fits-all, do not account for the unique learning styles and preferences of each student. Artificial Intelligence (AI) can offer a more customized approach by analyzing individual academic data, identifying learning gaps, and suggesting tailored study schedules that optimize time and effort.
At Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse, Jigawa State, students face challenges in managing their study time effectively, leading to poor academic performance. AI-powered personalized study plan generators can help by offering recommendations based on students' past performance, preferred learning methods, and available study time. This study will focus on designing and implementing an AI-based personalized study plan generator that can assist students in improving their academic performance through customized learning strategies.
Statement of the Problem
Many students at Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse struggle with managing their time and resources effectively due to a lack of personalized guidance. Existing study plans often fail to consider individual differences in learning styles, leading to suboptimal academic outcomes. AI-based study plan generators provide an opportunity to create tailored plans that cater to individual needs. However, the feasibility and effectiveness of implementing such a system in the Polytechnic have not been sufficiently explored. This study aims to address these challenges by developing an AI-driven solution.
Objectives of the Study
1. To design and develop an AI-based personalized study plan generator for students at Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse.

3. To identify the challenges and opportunities in implementing the AI-based study plan generator at the Polytechnic.
